Terminology

Ageha Squad -- anti-Coralian unit that was created by Dewey Novak, primarily made up of five children that had been victims of ethnic cleansing and saved by Dewey

Compac Drive -- Channel trapar to power vehicles.

Desperation Disease -- Victims become catatonic and fixated on Compac Drives; their consciousness is transferred to the Command Cluster. Named because of how the victims' loved ones often become desperate.

Gekkostate -- rebels from the military, run the magazine ray=out, famous lifters

Great Wall -- see Limit of Questions

LFO -- Light Finding Operation || KLF -- Kraft Light Fighter (military LFO)

Lifting -- using a ref board to ride trapar waves, similar to surfing

Limit of Questions/Limit of Life -- the theory that too many sentient life forms in the world will cause reality to tear; achieved once when the Scub briefly awoke from hibernation, creating a small void in reality, known as the Great Wall

Nirvash type ZERO -- the oldest known LFO and the basis of all LFO's to come, piloted by Eureka and Renton; has a form of sentience

Nirvash type theEND -- creation unknown, polar-opposite of type ZERO. Anemone was created to pilot it. Unlike how type ZERO has two seats for its cockpit, Anemone interfaces with her arms and feet in an amorphous, organic chassis. Likely there is also a minor neural connection. TheEND also has a form of sentience.

Oratorio #8 -- "an orbital weapons system owned by the United Federation that uses light gathered from the sun as a devastating attack"

Pile Bunkers -- "rod-like objects driven into the ground to suppress the tectonic shifts"

Ref board -- used in Lifting

Seventh Swell Phenomenon -- activated when the pilots of the Nirvash type ZERO are in emotional agreement, generating a dangerous, immense power

Skyfish -- Creatures that float on trapar. Said to appear when people are thinking happy thoughts.

SOF -- Special Operations Force

Summer of Love -- "Sparked by the first use of the Amita Drive with the Nirvash."

Trapar -- "Transparence Light Particles." Trapar is believed to be the "thoughts" of the hibernating Scub.

United Federation -- military under the command of the Sage Council

Vodarac -- religious group often labeled as terrorists; believe the land is sentient and that they should become one with it. "Everything is as the Vodarac guides it."

Scub Coral

Scub Coral -- intelligent lifeforms that came to Earth, only able to communicate by fusing with other life, which humans took as a sign of aggression.

Antibody Coralians -- appear when the Scub Coral is dealt deliberate harm, killing everything in the area; can only live for 1246 seconds

Command Cluster Coralian -- stores all the information the Scub has collected over the last 10,000 years, and keeps the rest of the Scub Coral in a dormant state; minds of humankind exist within the Command Cluster, which takes the form of a library, so that their consciousnesses can read the knowledge

Humanoid Coralians -- created by the Scub in order to observe and learn about humans, only three have existed; the military tried to artificially create their own, with only one surviving experiment

Kute-Class Coralians -- massive sphere of concentrated energy that materializes suddenly in the skies; can be artificially triggered. the Zone is accessible through a Kute-Class.

The Zone -- "a visual effect produced by extremely high concentrations of trapar particles and dust, which result in the mind seeing an endless corridor surrounded by brightly hued colors"
